This project focused on investigated historical works to enrich our architectural design and ideas. We are required to conduct precedent study analysis on specific buildings through drawings, model-making, on-line forum discussion and verbal presentation. The precedent study helped us to understand why a building is historically, culturally and architecturally importance. Firstly, we need to complete our on-line discussion forum. After that, we are required to produce an A2 analysis presentation board consists of illustrative and abstractive diagrams, drawings and text. Lastly, we need to create an abstraction model to communicate our precedent and conceptual analysis. Our model should be in 3D form abstraction expressing the building significant part of the precedent studies and conceptual analysis.

Through this project, I had learnt to produce building analysis which document intentions, concepts, patterns, disciplines, architectural language and contextual relationships. Besides, I was able to produce graphical development, expansion and elaboration of intentions, concepts, patterns, disciplines, architectural language and contextual relationships as integration to design project. I had learnt that team work is very important for us to produce a good work. Lastly, I learnt that a good presentation board is meaning it can ‘help’ you to present without presenting it.
